Hey Lovelies, Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm screaming because I love spring but it doesnt look it loves us yet. I’m not complaining, I am really not. I have come to accept things as they are and focus on more positive things in life like counting my blessings. Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create. I'm determined to create positive vibes only!
Spring is such a beautiful season, starting with the rain , yes the rain because it brings us flowers. Beautiful flowers. If you're on the hunt for the perfect jacket to instantly revive your closet staples, look no further than brocade jackets. Brocade jackets jazz up everything from denim to leather to dresses to skirts.
I have fallen in love with brocade florals. According to mood fabrics, Brocade Fabrics (from the Italian word for broccoli "brocatto") are distinguished by a secondary, non-structural weft pattern which creates a raised appearance similar to embroidery. Brocades can be made from Silk, Cotton, Rayon, Polyester or metallic synthetic fibers. Brocades often have striking floral, geometric or animal patterns woven into color-intensive backgrounds, sometimes with metallic highlights.
I find the pattern on brocade floral very gorgeous. Often associated with Asian –Japanese kimonos or geisha clothing or more so Indian Saris, Kurtas or dupattas, But I so love how you can make anything out of this fabric regardless of culture. When I saw this jacket, I was smitten. I got this one from Charlotte Russe(sold out) but I have linked similar pieces in the links below. I paired it with a velvet blush pink skirt which I wore as a dress ha-ha yes It’s the same one I wore in this (post here) and rose gold heels. Simple cute outfit for girls night out, or for a party!
I hope you are inspired and can now go all out with this fabric.
I love and thank you so much for visiting my blog!!
Till next time, Stay Stylish and be You!
