GINGHAM AND BLACK TIE
Happy Thursday people!!!
So if you were born in the 80s like me, you probably know Gingham fabric/pattern, or at least associate it with picnics (table clothes), kitchen curtains ,aprons or the maids uniforms. ye. that’s how I remember Gingham. ha! lol
It actually goes back to the 18th Century but hey I am not a historian so I am not going to bore you with all those details. I just wanted to revive your memories a little bit. So this fabric is back with a bang (not that it ever left! Lol) but there are more gorgeous designs that have emerged other than curtains, aprons or table cloths. Most celebrities are rocking this fabric and I’m sure we will keep on seeing it. So your girl got some gingham fever too and she had to let you in on this too. Affordably of course! ha :) thank me later!.
Today’s post is on this Gingham Bow Tie Strap Palazzo Overalls. First of all, it has pockets,!!!! Woot Woot y'all know how I love pockets!! It is 100% Cotton and true to size. I am wearing a size small. I styled it with a black tie coz it just felt right. I then added a hat to give it a more vintage look. Plus this hat is the bomb! so spacious you don’t have to worry about flattening your hair or awkward forehead creases. Black suede pumps were my go to because I wanted this to be more a formal look than a casual one.
So for a casual look, I switched it up with a red top, and strappy heels. you can do flats too. Whatever works for you!
Both outfits are perfect for date night, work, going out on a date, grabbing after work drinks, heading to a networking event etc.
I hope you guys enjoyed this look!! More gingham styles are coming your way so stay tuned.
I love you and thank you so much for stopping by. Till next time, stay stylish and be you!
