The weekend is here and the sun is shining bright and am so excited!  I hope you guys are enjoying your weekend already! So the cat is now out of the bag, I am still crazy about cape blazers. I am even thinking of getting some more in different colors and textures. The majority I have seen have slit sleeves and lightly padded shoulders to give them structure.  More details below...

According to Wikipedia, A cape is a sleeveless outer garment which drapes the wearer's back, arms and chest, and fastens at the neck.  In History, capes were common in medieval Europe, especially when combined with a hood in the chaperon, and have had periodic returns to fashion. So there we have it folks....

This thing keeps on evolving, getting better and better. I for one feel like a superhero, more like a superwoman when I rock em lol. Cape blazers are so easy to dress up or down. In one of my corporate Tuesday outfits, I dressed it up with a pencil skirt and a white shirt. In this look, I made it more playful. I dressed it down with Jeggings, a short sleeve tee and some boots, not forgetting the floppy hat which added the playfulness.
